The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Indian Women Network (IWN) of Andhra Pradesh proudly hosted a landmark Leadership Conclave
Famous TV - ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ / : Themed “ Pioneering Progress, Women Leading with a Purpose ,” the event aimed to spotlight and celebrate women leaders who have broken barriers, pioneered new territories, and challenged the status quo to benefit their community and the nation. The conclave provided a platform to inspire and empower women by fostering dialogue, collaboration, and support among them as trailblazers driving progress with purpose. It acknowledged the pivotal role women play in leading transformative change, uniquely positioned as they are to understand and address community needs. Dr. Ramadevi Gourineni, Chairwoman of CII-IWN Andhra Pradesh and Managing Director of Amara Hospital, welcomed attendees and set the tone for the day with a thoughtful address on the theme of women leadership and purpose. The event featured distinguished guests including: Ms. Suchitra K Ella, Chief Guest, Padma Bhushan Awardee, Past Chairwoman of CII Southern Region, and Co-Founder & Joint Managing Director of Bharat Biotech International Ltd. Mr. Jayadev Galla, Chairman & Managing Director of Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Ltd. Dr. V Murali Krishna, Chairman of CII Andhra Pradesh and Managing Director of Mahatma Gandhi Cancer Hospital & Research Institute. Ms. Shirin Salis, Chairwoman of CII IWN Southern Region and Vice President - HR at Trane Technologies. In her address, Chief Guest Ms. Suchitra K Ella remarked, "Women have the power to drive change and shape a better future for all. This conclave is a testament to the incredible work and leadership of women in our society." A highlight of the conclave was the panel discussion featuring: Dr. G. Natchiar, Founding Member of Aravind Eye Care System (AECS), and Ms. Roopa Maganti, Social Entrepreneur and Co-founder of Greentatwa Agritech LLP. These esteemed panelists shared insights from their transformational journeys, emphasizing the importance of women empowerment through upskilling programs and job opportunities. Additionally, a fireside chat with Ms. Aruna Kumari Galla, Former Minister of Health Education, R&D, and Mining, provided key insights and experiences in leadership and governance. Ms. Aditi Singh, IAS, Municipal Commissioner of Tirupati, discussed the challenges encountered during elections, emphasizing that these can be effectively addressed through communication and teamwork. Aligning with the CII IWN agenda of advancing women's leadership, the conclave inspired all attendees, including women and students, by highlighting the importance of networking among working women, being purpose-driven, having courage and passion, and embracing continuous learning with the motto, “Your Life is in your Hands.” Ms. Chandini Chandana, Vice Chairwoman of CII IWN Andhra Pradesh and COO & Co-founder of Avera New and Renewable Energy Moto Corp Tech Pvt Ltd, delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants and emphasizing the significance of collaboration and support among women leaders.
